Heat exchanges based on heat pipe technology produce much more domestic hot water than the traditional natural-circulation systems. The greater efficiency is especially evident in continental climates and during the worst weather conditions. Multiple units can be installed in series by strategically placing the hydraulic couplings. High standards of quality are also applied to the S235JR steel storage tank, with DIN 4753/3 vitrification and thick insulation. Its compact packaging makes it easy to carry and store.
Heat exchange occurs directly in a pressurized system of high-efficiency heat pipes, inside which the special heat-transfer liquid undergoes phase transitions (evaporation and condensation) at incredibly high speeds.
The solar collector consists of a number of double-cavity borosilicaet glass tubes welded at hte ends and internally evacuated. The inner cavity us oricessed by metallization with recyclable materials ("CERMET" method) so that it selectively absorbs solar energy.
Upon request, the system can be integrated with a kit (based on electric resistors and derivative control) that proveides antifreeze protection as well as maintaining the desired temperature inside the storage tank.
